Good schools are not easy; they require the support of many. I ran for School Board as I feel the need to give back to these important institutions as best I can. Because I have experience working with many schools through a variety of nonprofit positions (e.g., The Book Jam, Everybody Wins! Vermont, Seattle Symphony), I feel serving on the Board puts these skills to work to help our schools and our community. I will do my best to ensure our schools continue to learn and improve.
